I have a Sprint HTC Mogul and have not been able to access all day (12/5/07 since 9:00am) any POP 3 email accounts or the Internet (Extremely Slow Internet Connection leading to blank page or system error).
I contacted Sprints Tech Support and they have a system alert for EVDO in the San Francisco Market as of 8:00am Pacific Time with no estimated time of correction. I am not certain if this a nationwide problem (anybody else east of the Rockies having this problem?). When I spoke with the phone rerpesentative (Tech Support in Oaklahoma City) they had no clue as to whether my connection problems was casused by the problem noted in the service alert or if it was my Pocket PC.
I called 7 Sprint stores in San Francisco and they all cannot access the internet on any of the live Mogul floor models.
It was really frustrating being told the problem was most likely my Mogul by the Spring Tech Supprot represntative, so don't be fooled and do a hardreset like I was told to do. There is currently a systemwide EVDO outage (in the San francisco Market that I have confirmed) but SPrint is tryoing to downplay the severity.
Is there a service alert section in PDAPHONEHOME that I should have posted this thread, or can one be started for us PDA owners who want service outage answers!?!?!?!
